 Lantern Parade 2006

Our Lantern Parade in the Park - held on 1st December 2006 in conjunction with The Livesey Museum - was another huge success. Between 250 and 300 local familes paraded home made lanterns from the Museum to Brimmington Park. Southwark Parks had done a fantastic job of planting a Christmas Tree in the Park just in time, and the steel band and choir from Ilderton School provided lively entertainment.

 Tree Dressing - December 4th 2005
If you are wondering about the strange collection of hanging ornaments in the park, Sunday saw a brilliant turn out for the tree dressing in support of National Tree Week. Lots of residents joined together to create wildlife-friendly tree hangings made from fruit, nuts and pine cones.
 Spring Bulb Planting - November 6th 2005

The bulb planting that took place on November 6th was a huge success. Despite the freezing weather and the rain there was a good turnout and we managed to plant plenty of new Spring bulbs.
